A childhood that started with a second chance

Born Carmen Mureșan in Transylvania, Romania, Carmen's story carries an early turning point: at just five years old, she nearly drowned in a river near her home before her father pulled her back. She has always pointed to that moment as the beginning of her connection to intuition and to a sense that life holds more than what can be seen.

A stage before a practice

Long before she became known as an intuitive psychologist, Carmen built a career as a singer. As a child and teenager in communist-era Romania she won singing competitions, signed a recording contract, toured widely and filled concert halls — at times performing Western music that was officially discouraged. During a tour in Sweden, a producer working with ABBA remarked that her voice closely resembled Agnetha's, a comparison that stayed with her for years. Decades later, in 2019, she carried that same voice to the America's Got Talent auditions in Miami, where judges drew the same comparison and advanced her in the competition — before the pandemic paused what might have followed.

Life is about creating a vision for yourself, and manifesting the highest version of who you are meant to be.

A new life in New York

Carmen first came to the United States on a singing engagement, but stayed to build something else entirely. In New York she earned her doctorate and reinvented herself as an intuitive psychologist, counselor and relationship expert — blending evidence-based cognitive therapy with numerology, mediumship and intuition. Over the past three decades she has worked with more than 40,000 people, from everyday clients to well-known figures in entertainment and politics.

Recognition across media

Her work and perspective have appeared in outlets including The New York Times, the New York Post, Vogue, Elle and The Hollywood Reporter, and on programs such as Good Morning America, The View, Today and Fox News. She has also contributed to outlets like HuffPost, MindBodyGreen and Thrive Global.

Her latest book, You Are What You Feel, is now available. She has hosted Miracle Guidance for Everyday Life on OMTimes Radio, and continues to write, counsel and appear across media — still active, still evolving, in what she describes as several distinct chapters within one lifetime.
